THE SINCLAIR EFFECT
An upcoming novel by Dagney Tucker
Two people working in the same industry reconnect at an annual professional conference. What begins as friendship and familiarity slowly becomes something neither of them expected. For her, the encounter sets something much larger into motion.A connection. A secret. A decision. And an effect that refuses to stay contained. This is a story about attraction, timing, reinvention, intimacy, and what happens when one person makes you question the life you thought you had already chosen.
“It was my first glimpse of him as a protector.
As a problem solver.
I loved him even more.
That word again…”
About
Dagney Tucker
Dagney Tucker lives in the Sandia Mountains of New Mexico with her husband and three dogs who are thoroughly convinced they run the household. She writes across multiple genres, following whatever story refuses to leave her alone. Her work ranges from contemporary erotic fiction to stories about identity, reinvention, relationships, humor, and the strange turns a life can take when everything you thought you understood suddenly shifts.Dagney is especially drawn to the stories people do not always say out loud — the demure woman who becomes a temptress behind closed doors, the respectable life with a secret pulse running beneath it, the attraction that arrives at exactly the wrong time, and the parts of ourselves we reveal only when we feel safe enough to be fully seen. When she is not writing, she is usually with her dogs, traveling, enjoying the New Mexico mountains, laughing with her husband, or appreciating a very good glass of wine.
Her debut novel, The Sinclair Effect, explores what happens when friendship, timing, and undeniable chemistry become impossible to keep neatly separated.
The effect is just beginning.
